I'm thrilled you stopped by!  DiamondDeb is a nickname given to me by my dear friends when we all lived in North Hollywood, CA.  Sound Image Studios was born and I became a Graduate Gemologist.  It was a nickname only a handful of close friends and family knew.  As I reach the twilight of my career in the gem and jewelry business, I thought I might try my hand as a private jeweler.  Again, to family and friends.  I can save you some money and make a few bucks for myself.  Lo and behold the domain name was available!  Ha! 

 

Most of my career has been wholesaling precious colored gemstones, diamonds and jewelry to retail stores across the country, but I started at Boulder High School.  I moved to Chicago right from high school and apprenticed on the bench at 5 N Wabash.  After melting a casting into a little puddle, I thought maybe being a gemologist would be cool, so I packed up the Camero and moved to LA.  I've loved almost every minute of it!  Grading diamonds on the night shift at the GIA in Santa Monica (probably my favorite job) to retail management, diamond buyer's assistant at CD Peacock (the State Street location) moving on to sales and wholesaling.
